Women in Ministry Network

At the heart of what we do is the Diocesan mission: to proclaim our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, so that everyone around us will hear his call to repent, trust and serve Christ in love, and be established in the fellowship of his disciples while we await his return.

Specifically, we are concerned to equip and train the Christian women in Sydney to proclaim the gospel to the thousands of women in Sydney who do not know Christ.

To facilitate the mission, the Diocesan Women’s Ministry Team has these aims:

To encourage women with the vision that they are redeemed by God for the purposes of glorifying and serving him, being ready to give an answer to others for the hope they have in Christ.
To forward the training and equipping of women as proclaimers of the gospel, disciplers and Bible teachers.
To develop structures for the support, encouragement and ongoing training of women in ministry.
To foster the development of womens ministry and to encourage the opening of opportunities for the employment of trained women.
